Services

Our goal is to provide prefabricated Systems that empower individuals to take an active, hands-on role in the assembly of their cabin project, supported by a well-documented process that creates ease and certainty along the way. To support this goal, we're adding new services to our offering.

PreDesign Services
The PreDesign Services provide the essential tools and resources to ensure a seamless build process from start to finish.

  • We’re here to help you visualize (3D Model) your space and answer any questions about finishing out your system.

  • By understanding your needs and expectations we will walk through best practices and strategies for your system’s design.

  • The Best Practice documents will provide you with insights into electrical, plumbing, and mechanical strategies.

  • This will help you initiate conversations with the consultants who will be driving your project forward, such as interior designers, electricians, plumbers, HVAC experts, and more.

Owner Services (currently only available in Canada)
An owner’s representative is a valuable asset to any project owner. They provide a range of essential services throughout all stages of a project to ensure it runs smoothly and that complex goals are more easily met. An owner’s representative operates as part of the project team, but they work under a separate contract held with the owner. Their role is to act on behalf of the owner to oversee the entire project. This can include the planning, design, construction, and commissioning, as well as the closeout phases. An owner’s representative reports directly to the owner and always acts in their best interest. With expertise in all areas of design and construction, they offer valuable and unbiased advice.

General Contractor Services (currently only available in Canada)
A construction manager takes on a managerial role in a development and is responsible for all the moving parts of a construction project. Oftentimes, this term is used interchangeably with general contractor as both roles include pulling all aspects of the construction team together. Construction managers are able to compile quality teams - including subcontractors - manage operations, quality of work and the many other moving parts of a construction project.

As a Construction Manager, the duties may include:

  • Planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and evaluating construction projects from start to finish according to schedule, specifications and budget

  • Preparing and submitting construction project budget estimates

  • Planning and preparing construction schedules and milestones, and monitoring progress against established schedules

  • Preparing contracts and negotiating revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements and architects, consultants, clients, suppliers and subcontractors

  • Developing and implementing quality control programs

  • Preparing progress reports and issuing progress schedules to clients

  • Directing the purchase of building materials and land acquisitions

  • Hiring and supervising the activities of subcontractors and subordinate staff

Assembly Services (currently only available in Canada)
The GC/Assembly crew is an experienced crew of individuals trained specifically for each prefabricated kit. A typical crew consists of 3-4 individuals with off-grid building experience who travel to site for the assbmly of the BHC kits. They live and work on site and help navigate the project from delivery to lock-up.
